Q: What is FPTP?
A: FPTP is an acronym for the Faculty of Technology Management and Business. In Malay, it is known as Fakulti Pengurusan Teknologi dan Perniagaan.
Q: When was FPTP established?
A: FPTP was established on 20th June 2001 and became fully operational on 1st January 2002. The faculty is committed to becoming an excellent institution in leading technology management initiatives, aiming to produce creative, innovative, and competent technology managers who are able to apply, explore, and lead technology management practices.
Q: Where is FPTP located?
A: The Faculty of Technology Management and Business (FPTP) is part of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), located in Parit Raja, Batu Pahat, Johor Darul Ta’zim. UTHM is situated along the Batu Pahat–Ayer Hitam route, approximately 30 minutes (20 km) from Batu Pahat town and 15 minutes (15 km) from Ayer Hitam. For North-South Expressway users, please take the Ayer Hitam/Batu Pahat exit to reach UTHM.
