About the programme

This programme is designed to produce managers who are able to:
  • Integrated applications of management and technology in planning and managing the organization.
  • Demonstrate critical and innovative thinking together with production and operation problem solving competencies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Exhibit exemplary leadership qualities communication and team work to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Exemplify professional and ethical conduct and accountability aligned with the national aspiration.

Programme Structure & Assessment

                This programme consists of 120 credits to be completed within eight (8) semesters. The courses focuses on fundamental business and management, Technology Management, Operational Management and Production Manufacturing management. All courses are assessed through assignment, quizzes, tests, laboratory works, presentations, projects and final examinations. The students were also required to submit the Final Year Project as a condition to be graduated besides undergo industrial training for working environment exposure.

Course Outline

This programme consists of the following courses:

YEAR 1 (SEMESTER 1 & 2)
Principles of Management, Business Financial Management, Computer Application In Business, Principles of Marketing, Economics and Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship.

YEAR 2 (SEMESTER 3 & 4)
Manufacturing Technology, Quality Management, Industrial Management, Technology Management, Project Management, Quality Control, Production Planning and Control, Industrial Engineering.


YEAR 3 (SEMESTER 5 & 6)
Occupational Safety and Health Management, Production Forecasting, Research Methodology, Operational Research, Product Development, Creativity and Innovation, Management Information System, Industrial Automation, Business Law, Supply Chain Management, Final years Project I.


YEAR 4 (SEMESTER 7)
Industrial Relations, Material Technology and Selection, Industrial Psychology, Final year Project II.


YEAR 4 (SEMESTER 8) 
Industrial Training

              Graduates from this programme can build their career in the industrial and public sectors as Production Executives, Purchasing Executives, Logistic Executives, Production Planners/ Schedulers, Production Analysis, Quality Managers, Industrial Engineer Assistant, Process Engineer Assistant, Administrative Officer and Academician.

Transfer Programme

              Student will have an option to get involved in an exchange program during their Second Year Semester of their degree, studying at the participating university. This offters an opportunity to study a number of course from a new  perspective at different environment. This will provide advantages to students in engaging with diverse educational learning experiences and broaden their network interaction. At present we are collaborated with Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).
