Dr Roshartini Omar is a lecturer at the Department of Construction Management, Faculty of Technology Management and Business, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Parit Raja, Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. She has been in service for almost 12 years. She was the Head of Department for the Department of Construction Management and has been serving the Faculty since 2006. She graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang in 2003 with BSc. (Hons.) Housing, Building and Planning (Building Technology). In 2004, she received her MSc. Building Technology at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang and her PhD at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Shah Alam in 2012. She has published more than 14 conference papers both locally and internationally including in the Australia, Dubai, China and Egypt. She also has actively written and published book and book chapter. She has be as an editor in two books namely “Pembinaan vs Persekitaran” (UTHM Publisher) and “Impak Pengurusan Pembinaan terhadap Persekitaran” (Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Publisher). Her present research interests include technology transfer, technology absorptive capacity, organization’s technological capabilities, work stress, performance SME Company in construction, human resource management in construction, maintenance management and knowledge management. Besides, she is very experienced in teaching Building Services, Construction Equipment and Qualitative Research.
